Information we collect

• Calculator inputs. The weight, exercise time, bottle size and other values you enter into a calculator are processed in your browser. They are not sent to our server and we do not store them.
• Choices saved on your device. The site remembers your weight unit (pounds or kilograms) and your light or dark theme in your browser’s local storage so you do not have to set them again. These stay on your device, and you can clear them in your browser settings.
• What is in the page address. When you follow the link from the Daily Water Intake Calculator to the Bottles of Water per Day Calculator, your daily goal and bottle size are carried in the page address so the second tool can fill itself in. Your weight is not included.
• Visit statistics. The site uses Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to count visits. It records which pages are viewed, the referring site, browser, operating system, device type and country, plus an anonymous session identifier. It does not use cookies, and it does not collect your name or email address. The statistics are kept on a server run by the site owner.
• Server logs. Like most websites, the hosting server keeps standard logs, such as pages requested, browser and device type, referring site and the IP address of the request.
• Messages you send. If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to a form handler on readyutilities.com, a site run by the same owner, and delivered to admin@readyutilities.com. We use them only to reply to you, and we keep them only as long as needed to handle your request.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site does not set cookies of its own for tracking or advertising, and neither its calculators nor its analytics tool need any. The cookie banner comes from Consently, a consent management service. It stores your cookie choice on your device so it can remember it, and it keeps a record of consent decisions. If we later add advertising, affiliate or other third-party services that use cookies or similar technologies, we will name them here and in the Cookie Policy before they go live, and we will ask for consent where the law requires it.

How we use information

We use server log data to keep the site working, and Umami statistics to see which pages people use and how they find them, so we can improve the calculators and guides. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.

This site may carry advertising and affiliate links in the future. No ad network has been chosen yet. When one is added, this policy will say which one, explain that it and other third-party vendors may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and link to the way you can opt out of personalized ads. Your choices

You can control cookies and local storage through your browser settings. To remove what the site saved on your device, clear this site’s data in your browser. If personalized advertising is added later, you will be able to opt out at optout.aboutads.info and adssettings.google.com.

California residents

The California Consumer Privacy Act gives California residents the right to know what personal information a business collects, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of its sale or sharing, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to not be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to ask for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, a portable copy, and to object to processing. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. We process contact-form messages to answer you, which is our legitimate interest in running the site. Anything that needs consent, such as non-essential cookies, will only run after you agree, and the Consently banner is where you give or decline it. Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The calculators are meant for adults.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision.
